Role and Team
We are seeking a Facility Maintenance Specialist to join our team. Reporting to the Facilities Manager or designated supervisor, this role involves performing routine cleaning and light maintenance tasks across all auction facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
Ensure customers receive prompt, efficient, and courteous service. Maintain a professional appearance and a welcoming environment by greeting visitors. Address customer concerns in a friendly manner and report significant issues to management. - Execute Cleaning Duties:
Dust, sweep, and mop all common areas within the auction facilities. Clean all equipment, countertops, furniture, and fixtures. Vacuum office spaces at least every other day. Remove trash and debris from various areas and dispose of them in designated collection points. Clean restrooms daily and restock soap and personal items as needed. Maintain cleanliness in kitchen and cafeteria areas, ensuring counters are wiped down and floors are swept and mopped. Clean auction block areas weekly, including trash removal and dusting. Wash windows in common areas as required. - Maintain Supplies:
Replenish supplies in assigned areas and monitor inventory of janitorial materials, notifying the Facilities Manager of any needs. - Report Maintenance Issues:
Inform the Facilities Manager of any equipment malfunctions and necessary repairs. During events, ensure restrooms and kitchen areas are fully stocked.
Qualifications
Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years old, possess a valid driver's license, and demonstrate effective communication skills in English. Candidates should be capable of operating vehicle equipment and tools.
