Role Summary

The Operating Room Technician plays a vital role in the care and preparation of surgical patients and the operating room, working under the direct supervision of an operating room RN. This position involves the assembly, setup, and utilization of surgical instruments and equipment during procedures. While the work environment is primarily routine, it may shift rapidly to address emergent or critical situations, necessitating both guided and independent decision-making based on the circumstances.

Qualifications

  • Current Surgical Technologist Registration in Washington State is required
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred
  • Current BLS Certification is mandatory
  • A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience is required

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes competitive salary, medical, dental, and retirement benefits, as well as paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we provide a competitive compensation range for candidates in each position. The pay scale is $50.48 USD, with adjustments based on individual factors such as skill set, experience level, and certifications. If this position is covered by a union contract, compensation will align with the appropriate step on the pay scale based on the applicant's years of experience.
