Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated solo Class A CDL driver to join our team at Ryder System. As a home daily driver, you will be responsible for delivering freight to Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR, while enjoying a local home daily schedule.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight as required by the customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Requirements
  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder drug test
  • Pass a Ryder background and motor vehicle check, including drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
Benefits
  • Weekly guarantee of 40 hours
  • Hourly pay: $30.00 per hour
  • Hours per week: 45 or more hours per week
  • Paid training
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday, no weekends
  • Start time: 4:00 AM - 5:00 AM
