Annual Fund Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Annual Fund Manager to join our team at Humanix. As a key member of our fundraising team, you will be responsible for designing and managing revenue and expense budgets and strategies for Individual Giving campaigns.

You will work closely with our Director of Communications and Philanthropy to develop and implement effective fundraising strategies, manage direct mail and annual campaigns, and oversee print, mail, and fulfillment timelines with outside vendors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing revenue and expense budgets and strategies for Individual Giving campaigns
  • Managing direct mail and annual campaigns, including list generation and segmentation
  • Overseeing print, mail, and fulfillment timelines with outside vendors
  • Identifying and stewarding the community, including identifying prospects with potential for major and legacy giving
  • Participating in cultivation and fundraising events
  • Entering donor information into our database, including gift details, name, and address
  • Processing and acknowledging gifts in accordance with approved turnaround and accuracy standards
  • Generating gift reports for Finance
  • Tracking and retrieving gift information, answering phone inquiries from donors, and coordinating with department staff to ensure accuracy of gift designations
  • Serving as the Accounts Receivable Representative to process deposits with the Director of Finance
  • Performing monthly financial reconciliations with Finance

Requirements for the role include:

  • 3-5 years of progressively responsible fundraising experience
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Flexibility, attention to detail, bottom-line orientation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure, collegial environment
  • High proficiency with technology, including Microsoft desktop applications and Every Action/Bonterra
  • Ability to work on-site
