We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and their families.

About the Role

This is a full-time night shift position, working 12-hour shifts. As a NICU Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care to critically ill newborns and their families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide education and support to families throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
  • Provide education and support to families throughout their hospital stay
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless transitions of care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
Requirements
  • Current License in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License
  • BLS certification required
  • One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred
  • Advanced certification in field of specialty, if applicable
