Join Our Team as a NICU Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Piedmont Newton Hospital. As a NICU RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of patients and families, providing high-quality care and support in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a strong commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for working with newborns and their families. As a NICU RN, you will be responsible for providing direct patient care, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and contributing to the development of individualized care plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to newborns and their families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify patient needs and develop effective care strategies
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a current license in the State of Georgia as a Registered Nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License. BLS certification is also required. One year of nursing experience in a hospital setting is preferred, but new graduates of a nursing program are eligible to apply.
