About the Role:
As a Product Designer on the Target Design Team, you will play a key role in driving innovation and creativity in our kids' home business. You will be responsible for designing and developing products that meet the merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and price points. This includes working closely with the design leadership team to ensure brand cohesion and continuity across all product lines.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop products that meet the merchant line plans, assortment strategies, and price points
Collaborate with the design leadership team to ensure brand cohesion and continuity across all product lines
Work closely with technical designers, engineers, and sourcing partners to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve product issues
Develop and maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, new materials, and techniques to stay ahead of the competition
About You:
4+ years of relevant experience in design, fine art, or a related field
Strong computer design system skills, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Experience in CAD illustration or 2D/3D software and rendering tools
Knowledge of materials, including textiles and hard material finishes
Ability to design products across multiple materials, including bedding, soft décor, hard décor, and gifts
Strategic and business-oriented mindset with a focus on creating innovative and cost-effective design solutions
