The Phoenix Staffing is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Apartment Leasing Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for renting out housing properties and providing exceptional service to our tenants.

Key Responsibilities

  • Meet with prospective tenants to discuss lease terms and determine their suitability for our properties.
  • Process security deposits and coordinate with current tenants to discuss lease changes.
  • Build relationships with current tenants to provide personalized service and ensure their needs are met.
  • Conduct background checks, credit checks, and other necessary verifications to ensure prospective tenants are qualified.
  • Prepare leasing documents and ensure compliance with property standards and regulations.
  • Collect rent payments, security deposits, and application fees in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Communicate effectively with tenants regarding any changes to rental agreements or property issues.
  • Monitor community facilities, such as mailrooms, fitness centers, and laundry rooms, to ensure they are well-maintained.

Requirements

  • Bilingual skills are highly desirable.
  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
  • Previous experience as a Leasing Professional or in a similar role is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of real estate industry principles, property management practices, and relevant legislation.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with diverse groups.
  • Availability to work extended hours, including weekends, as needed.
