Responsibilities:
The Opportunity:
- We are in search of a skilled Senior Revenue Systems Analyst to assist Varite in enhancing accounting operations utilizing SAP's S/4 HANA platform. The ideal candidate possesses a strong inclination towards data-driven problem-solving and excels in conveying intricate information to diverse audiences. Our team delivers top-tier services aimed at evaluating outcomes and generating insights for our finance division, leveraging advanced data science, automation, and AI technologies such as Snaplogic, Python, Databricks, and Azure AI.
- Facilitate the upgrade of revenue accounting systems to SAP S/4 HANA.
- Provide support and coverage for the daily operations of the Revenue Accounting and Operations (RAO) team.
- Collaborate with various internal and external teams to gather and document business requirements, including RAO, Adobe Technology Services (ATS), FP&A, and Legal.
- Design and validate revenue-related data models in compliance with FASB ASC 606.
- Assist the organization through the final implementation of S/4 HANA and during the subsequent hypercare phase.
Essential Skills:
- 3-5 years of relevant experience is required (experience in the software industry and/or CPA firms is preferred).
- Comprehensive understanding of the technical application of ASC 606 and current authoritative literature regarding revenue recognition, particularly in Software and SAAS contexts.
- Familiarity with the Quote to Cash process.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a project from requirements gathering to Production Acceptance Testing (PAT); knowledge of agile methodologies is advantageous.
- Proven capability to manage extensive planning processes involving multiple business stakeholders.
- Experience with data science and ETL tools such as Snaplogic or Python.
- Knowledge of SQL and relational database systems.
- Interest or experience in innovative Gen AI and automation tools, including Azure AI and relevant Python libraries.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead, set objectives, and achieve results.
- Demonstrated history of successful delivery and the ability to evaluate and prioritize competing demands.
- Hands-on experience with SAP Order to Cash processes.
- BA/BS in Finance or Accounting.
