Job Responsibilities:
- Prepare sterile operating rooms for surgeries, ensuring a safe and efficient environment for patients and medical staff.
- Sterilize equipment and instruments, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and compliance.
- Stock adequate supplies for surgery, ensuring that all necessary materials are readily available.
- Prepare patients for surgery by washing and disinfecting incision sites, promoting patient comfort and well-being.
- Provide support during surgery by passing instruments and other supplies, working closely with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the general surgical team.
- Track surgical supplies, ensuring that inventory levels are maintained and restocked as needed.
- Stay up-to-date on surgical technology, medical terminology, and procedures, remaining current with industry developments and best practices.
- Work effectively with surgeons, surgical assistants, nurses, and the general surgical team to provide exceptional patient care.
- Must have experience in Ortho trauma/Total joints, Vascular, and Spine procedures.
Requirements:
- NBSTSA/ NCCT certification is required.
- At least 2 years of hospital experience is required.
- Experience in Ortho trauma/Total joints, Vascular, and Spine procedures is required.
- BLS-AHA certification is required.
Schedule:
- Day Shift
- 5x8 schedule
Pay:
$60.00 per hour
