Financial Transaction Specialist

About the Role: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our accounting team at RTA US. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates looking to build a strong foundation in accounting, handling AP tasks and contributing to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions in QuickBooks with precision and accuracy.
- Match invoices to purchase orders and verify approvals for payments to ensure timely financial reporting.
- Assist in preparing payment runs (checks, ACH, wire transfers) to meet deadlines.
- Maintain and update vendor files, ensuring accurate records and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies to minimize errors and delays.
- Assist in month-end closing activities related to AP to guarantee accurate financial statements.
- Provide support to the AP Manager and Assistant Controller as needed to drive business growth.
- Perform data entry and clerical duties associated with AP with high attention to detail.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel with expertise in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and other advanced functions.
- Experience with QuickBooks is a plus; willingness to learn SAGE during transition.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with excellent communication skills.
