We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Resident Instructor to join our team at Community Residences. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and supportive environment for individuals with developmental disabilities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized plans of care to promote independence and well-being
- Provide direct support and care to clients, including assistance with daily living activities, medication administration, and transportation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and support
- Monitor and report changes in client behavior, medical conditions, and other relevant information
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
- At least two years of experience in human services or a related field
- Valid CT driver's license and good driving record
- Ability to lift and transfer 70-75lbs and perform active work both inside and outside of the program
