Lead Electrical Engineer

At Turion Space, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Electrical Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for leading and managing electrical engineering projects from concept to delivery.
Key Responsibilities:- Design and develop electrical systems and components, including power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces.
- Lead and manage a team of electrical engineers, providing technical guidance and support to ensure successful project execution.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resources, ensuring that electrical engineering projects are completed on schedule, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical systems into spacecraft and satellite platforms, ensuring seamless integration with mechanical, thermal, and software systems.
- Develop and execute test plans for electrical systems, conducting performance and reliability testing to validate system functionality and compliance with specifications.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with at least 3 years in a lead or senior role.
- Strong knowledge of electrical system design, power distribution, control systems, and electrical interfaces.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of engineers, with strong project management skills and experience overseeing complex engineering projects.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in electrical engineering, including significant experience in a lead or management role.
- Expertise in advanced electrical systems design and integration techniques, including high-voltage systems, radiation-hardened electronics, and space-qualified components.
