Job Summary:

Trinity Health of New England is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our mission-driven team in our Acute Care rehabilitation department at Saint Mary's Hospital.


The Speech Language Pathologist will be responsible for performing evaluations, direct patient treatment, and documentation for patients with mild-moderate cognitive deficit, neurological disorders, swallowing/oral motor impairment.


Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and develop treatment plans.
  2. Establish functional goals based on evaluation results targeting deficit areas to help patients achieve a maximum level of functional independence.
  3. Provide professional interaction with patients, family members, interdisciplinary team members, and other staff members and colleagues.
  4. Complete all documentation in accordance with professional, organizational, and regulatory compliance standards.


Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited program with a master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • State of Connecticut Speech-Language Pathology Licensure.
