Job Title: Speech Language Pathologist

At ECHN, we are seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech Language Pathologist, you will play a vital role in providing treatments to patients with communication and swallowing disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate patients to determine the nature and extent of their communication and swallowing disorders.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing skills.
  • Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms, level of activity, and medical status.
  • Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques to attain established goals.
  • Utilize effective techniques to assist in normalizing speech and language activity.
  • Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Current Connecticut license and Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association.
  • Valid driver's license for occasional travel between ECHN business sites.
