Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist I is responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients as ordered by physicians. This role requires strong communication skills to position and instruct patients for radiological or fluoroscopic examinations, adjust imaging equipment, and determine the optimal settings for each image.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Position and instruct patients for radiological or fluoroscopic examinations
  • Adjust imaging equipment and determine optimal settings for each image
  • Prepare patients for x-ray by administering contrast IV and non-IV
  • Work with infant, children, and adolescent patients, as well as adults as needed
Requirements
  • Newly graduated from an accredited Radiography Program with less than six (6) months clinical experience
  • Ability to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Ability to work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Able to communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Amer Reg Rad Tech - Radiography (ARRT-R) certification
