Job Summary

The Radiologic Technologist I is a key member of our imaging team, responsible for operating imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate imaging equipment to produce high-quality images of patients
  • Position and instruct patients for radiological or fluoroscopic examinations
  • Adjust imaging equipment and determine proper voltage, current, and exposure time for each image
  • Prepare patients for x-ray by administering contrast IV and non-IV
  • Work effectively in a team environment to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Newly graduated from an accredited Radiography Program with less than six (6) months clinical experience
  • Preferred: One (1) year of acute care technologist experience in a pediatric inpatient hospital
  • Graduate from an approved education program in Radiography/Radiologic Technology
  • Able to relate and communicate positively, effectively, and professionally with others
  • Work calmly and respond courteously when under pressure
  • Collaborate and accept direction
  • Communicate effectively in English in person, in writing, and on the telephone

Benefits

CHOC offers a competitive salary range of $35.12 - $57.94 per hour, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
