Part-time Faculty for 3D Animation and Design

Coast Community College District is seeking part-time faculty members to teach 3D animation and design courses. As a part-time faculty member, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse group of students and contribute to the district's mission of providing high-quality education.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will provide instruction in accordance with established curriculum and course outlines, maintain current knowledge in the subject matter areas, and fulfill professional responsibilities of a part-time/temporary faculty member. Assignments may include day, evening, weekend, on-line and/or off-campus classes.
Required Skills and QualificationsTo be considered for this position, applicants must meet one of the following qualifications:
- Valid California Community College instructor credential, appropriate to the subject, per Education Code 87355 (issued prior to July 1, 1990);
- Bachelor's degree and two years of professional experience;
- Associate degree and six years of professional experience;
- Possess a combination of education and experience that is at least the equivalent to the above.
Candidates must also demonstrate a sensitivity to, understanding of, and the ability to manage the classroom environment AND effectively provide instruction to community college students of diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability, gender identity, sexual orientation, and ethnic backgrounds.

Estimated Salary: $54,000 - $63,000 per yearPlease note that this salary estimate is based on the job description and location. The actual salary may vary depending on the specific requirements of the position and the qualifications of the successful candidate.
