Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Hotel Retlaw in Fond Du Lac, WI. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing front desk operations, and leading a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service
    • Respond to guest inquiries and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Provide accurate and timely information to guests regarding hotel services and amenities.
  • Front Desk Operations
    • Supervise the front desk team to ensure efficient and effective operation of the front desk.
    • Manage guest check-in and check-out processes, including verifying reservations and processing payments.
  • Team Leadership
    • Train and develop front desk staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional customer service.
    • Coach and counsel staff to improve performance and address any issues or concerns.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Assist with managing guest complaints and issues.
    • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience
    • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role required.
    • Experience in a hotel or hospitality environment preferred.
  • Skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask.
    • Basic computer skills and knowledge of hotel software systems.
