Job Title: Radiation Oncology Nurse

We are seeking a skilled Radiation Oncology Nurse to join our team at APN Consulting Inc.

Job Summary

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a radiation oncology setting. This includes administering treatments, monitoring patient responses, and collaborating with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients
  • Monitor patient responses to treatment and report any adverse effects
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in radiation oncology or a related field
  • Current BLS certification
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Work Environment

This is a full-time position with a maximum of 7 days of overtime per week. The schedule includes every other weekend and no call requirements. Major holidays are observed, and floating is required within the facility and to sister hospitals as needed.
