Key Responsibilities:

  1. Respond promptly and courteously to residents' dining requests, ensuring a positive and respectful dining atmosphere.
  2. Adhere to health and safety standards by properly handling all food items and utensils, including thorough sanitization of dining service ware.
  3. Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work and storage areas.
  4. Oversee proper waste management and ensure sanitary conditions in waste disposal areas.
  5. Conduct regular cleaning of workspaces and dining areas, including sweeping and mopping.
  6. Manage dishwashing duties, ensuring all kitchenware is cleaned and sanitized.
  7. Assist in the setup and breakdown of food service stations before and after meal times.
  8. Ensure all necessary dining utensils are available for each meal service.
  9. Maintain cleanliness in all service areas, including beverage and dishwashing stations.
  10. Support culinary staff in meal preparation and serving.
  11. Safeguard dietary items to prevent loss and ensure security.
  12. Follow food safety protocols for the storage and disposal of leftover food.
  13. Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
  14. Adhere to safety regulations for self and others, wearing appropriate attire for the role.
  15. Perform additional duties as required for the smooth operation of dietary services.

Qualifications

Education / Experience: Previous experience in a high-volume food service environment is preferred. Candidates must be at least eighteen (18) years old.


Work Environment

This position requires a commitment of 16 hours per week.
