Territory Manager Wanted in South Puget Sound Region
We are seeking an experienced sales professional to manage a lucrative established territory in the South Puget Sound region. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.
The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in material handling or related field, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales. Prior experience in customer service, material handling/industrial equipment environment is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develops maximum sales potential through competitive sales techniques and knowledge of company's products and services as well as competition's strengths/weaknesses
- Builds and maintains quality relations with assigned accounts/territory and increases account base and volume of sales on a consistent basis
- Follows up with sales leads generated through incoming calls, advertising campaigns, and other promotional efforts to expand current customer base
- Contacts current customers via telephone, correspondence or in person by traveling as frequently as necessary to meet and surpass profitable sales goals for the company
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree (Preferred) or 3+ years experience in material handling or related field
- Possess strong ability to prospect, negotiate, and close sales
- Prior experience and strong ability using computer applications, particularly MS Excel, MS Word and sales related software packages
- Self-motivated, detail oriented and organized with ability to shift priorities in a changing environment
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with employees, vendors, and customers
