Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing a territory business plan to meet sales targets. This includes selling and promoting the Diatherix Eurofins product line to assigned regions, identifying new client opportunities, and prioritizing project planning.

  • Sales professionals will utilize the Diatherix Eurofins sales approach to educate customers on the value of our products and services.
  • They must demonstrate a thorough understanding of selling skills, sales forecasting, and budget tracking, as well as monitor and evaluate competitive services, pricing, and other activities.
  • Effective communication is essential in this role, as sales professionals will work closely with marketing and other sales teams to develop and implement sales and marketing plans.

To perform this job successfully, the individual must have a Bachelor's degree in a biological science with strong quantitative skills. Experience selling molecular diagnostics in the outpatient physician market is preferred.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in a biological science.
  • Experience in Business-to-Business sales, particularly cold calling for new business.
  • Strong knowledge of PCR, infection prevention and control, and antimicrobials.
  • A positive attitude and desire for continuous improvement.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a large territory and produce sales growth while maintaining existing accounts.
About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm, with overtime as needed. The base salary is $77,000 per year, plus commission.
