Director of Health and Wellness RN or LPN

TerraBella Harrisburg is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Health and Wellness to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of clinical care and services for our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to clinical care.
- Analyze occurrence trends and develop/implement improvement plans as needed.
- Partner with the Administrator and other team members to maintain resident and team member health and safety.
- Collaborate with the pharmacy consultant to provide optimal pharmaceutical services to residents.
- Provide clinical expertise and guidance to licensed nurses.
- Identify ongoing needs and services of residents through the assessment/service plan process.
- Ensure resident service plans are updated as required by state regulations.
- Maintain communication with residents' families and/or responsible parties regarding changes in care or health concerns.
- Schedule clinical staff on a monthly basis.
- Ensure adequate clinical supplies are available.
- Participate in a rotating on-call schedule.
Qualifications:
- Current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse.
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience.
- Minimum 2 years of geriatric experience.
- Prior experience in assisted living, home health, or long-term care is preferred.
- Demonstrate competence in assessment skills, injections/medication administration, follow-up, and triage.
- Provide leadership by exhibiting confidence in self and others; inspire and motivate others to perform well.
