Transportation Sales Director

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Transportation Sales Manager to lead our sales team to continued success. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth, developing and training sales reps, and ensuring the highest level of integrity within the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Revenue Growth: Develop and implement strategies to drive revenue growth through coaching and developing new and existing sales reps.
- Sales Team Development: Interview, train, and mentor entry-level sales reps to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Account Strategies: Assist sales reps in developing account strategies to increase revenue and achieve satisfactory net revenue results.
- Team Accountability: Hold the sales team accountable for daily activity and results, ensuring they meet preset standards and industry trends.
- Integrity: Ensure employees maintain the highest level of integrity and adhere to company policies and procedures.
- Support Staff Allocation: Coordinate the allocation of support staff to accounts with high volumes of business.
- Sales Reporting: Monitor sales reports to identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to increase revenue.
- Sales Training: Work with the Training department to maintain and continuously enhance sales training programs.
- Experience: At least 3-5 years of prior experience working for a non-asset freight brokerage in a sales capacity, preferably with 3-5 years of sales management experience leading a team of 5+.
- Credentials: High school diploma or GED required, Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, supply chain, transportation and logistics or similar field is a plus.
- Skills: Demonstrated ability to coach, lead, and motivate others, strong negotiation skills, self-driven with a desire to succeed, and ability to think creatively to find solutions.
