Job Description

As an engineering student intern with our Rail Water Resources team, you'll have the opportunity to work on meaningful, hands-on projects that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control.
  • Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation, or GIS/ArcMap.
  • Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports.
  • Collaborate with other team members and engineers on client projects.

Qualifications:

  • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in engineering (civil engineering preferred).
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to contribute and work well on a team.
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD and GIS preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
