Position Overview
The Appliance Service Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the optimal performance and quality of our products through expert repair, troubleshooting, and maintenance services. This position requires a versatile individual who is adept in handling both technical challenges and customer service responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Expertise: Diagnose, repair, and troubleshoot issues with our wood, gas, and electric ovens and related appliances, ensuring high-quality workmanship and reliability.
- Customer Service: Manage the service call phone line, providing exceptional customer service, scheduling repairs, and offering technical support.
- Documentation and Feedback: Document service calls, repairs, and feedback to contribute to continuous product improvement.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with manufacturing to relay customer feedback and technical issues, helping to improve product design and functionality.
- Customer Liaison: Liaise with customers and third-party partners to ensure a seamless service experience and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Industry Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards, new technologies, and best practices in appliance repair and maintenance.
Qualifications
- Technical Expertise: Proven experience as an Appliance Service Technician, with a strong foundation in appliance repair, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Appliance Knowledge: Basic knowledge of wood/gas/electric ovens or similar appliances is highly desirable.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently.
- Customer Service Orientation: Strong customer service orientation, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Task Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Technical Certification: Technical certification or diploma in appliance repair, electrical, mechanical, or related field is preferred.
