Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Bakery Decorator Specialist to join our team at Refresh Foods Inc. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for creating visually appealing designs on all specialty bakery goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items to meet customer expectations.
  • Assist in the production of all mandatory bakery products, including parfaits, bars, and cupcakes.
  • Produce in-house products to daily par levels, as specified on production sheets.
  • Complete production and spoilage records, adjusting production sheets to maintain sufficient product.
  • Prepare, package, weigh, and price bakery products for sale.
  • Monitor product quality for freshness and ensure proper product rotation.
  • Provide excellent customer service, addressing customer needs in a timely and effective manner.
  • Maximize sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and merchandising product.
  • Follow and comply with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment.
  • Perform opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • 6-12 months retail experience.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Standing/walking 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
  • Hand use: single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing and pulling.
  • Work requires the following motions: bending, twisting, squatting and reaching.
