Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Quality Inspector to enhance our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will ensure that our products adhere to rigorous quality standards, focusing on reliability, usability, and performance. This role demands a combination of technical expertise, effective communication, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the quality inspection team and manage the evaluation of machined components, ensuring adherence to both company and industry standards.
  • Employ Zeiss CMM and Calypso software for product dimension verification and non-conformity identification.
  • Interpret and apply ASME 14.5Y and GD&T standards throughout the inspection process.
  • Utilize various measuring tools and optical comparators to guarantee product precision and quality.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to drive continuous quality enhancement initiatives.
  • Maintain compliance with ISO 9001 and AS9100 certification standards, ensuring thorough documentation of all processes.
  • Conduct root cause analyses for quality-related issues and implement necessary corrective measures.
  • Utilize ERP systems to monitor and report on quality metrics and trends.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior inspectors, fostering a culture of quality excellence.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within the manufacturing sector.
  • Strong understanding of metal fabrication processes, AS9100 standards, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Proficient in using Zeiss CMM, Calypso software, and various measurement instruments.
  • Thorough knowledge of ASME 14.5Y and GD&T.
  • Experience with ERP systems and capability to generate and analyze quality reports.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Certification as a Quality Inspector (CQI) or Quality Engineer (CQE) is advantageous.
