Job Summary:

BronxCare Health System is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing and obtaining radiographs on all patients, as well as assisting the Radiologist with various procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and obtain radiographs on all patients, utilizing x-ray equipment permitted within the scope of your license and training.
  • Assist the Radiologist with angiography, myelography, and other procedures as needed.
  • Effectively utilize the hospital computer system to manage job responsibilities and adhere to hospital policy.
  • Provide emergency special procedures on an on-call basis.
  • Assist the Radiologist with transporting patients to and from Interventional Suites as required.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an Accredited School of Radiology.
  • AART and ACE certification preferred.
  • Registered preferred, with a minimum of two (2) years of experience.
  • Ability to administer Floruscopy during procedures.
  • Licensed by the State of New York.

Bilingual Preferred:

English/Spanish language proficiency preferred.
