Job Title: Maintenance Supervisor

Western Sugar Cooperative is seeking a skilled Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the maintenance and repair of our facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our plant equipment and maintaining a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure timely completion of tasks and minimize downtime
  • Supervise and train maintenance personnel to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively
  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities
  • Monitor and report on maintenance-related metrics and KPIs to inform business decisions
Requirements:
  • 3-5 years of maintenance experience, preferably in a supervisory role
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, some college or bachelor's degree preferred
