Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Warehouse Operations Supervisor to join our team at Western Sugar Cooperative. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the direction and coordination of shipping operations in our Scottsbluff facility and terminals located in Bayard, Western Valley, Gering, and Mitchell.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the highest quality product is delivered to customers by scrutinizing all documents before, during, and after each customer load.
  • Determine package sugar inventory, pallets, totes, and other materials as required.
  • Provide leadership for Warehouse personnel to achieve continuous improvement and alignment with the Cooperative's vision, mission, values, and objectives.
  • Drive employee engagement, training, and development to maximize safety, quality, and performance.
  • Supervise and assist with ownership of bulk loading and rail operations at Scottsbluff.
  • Ensure a clean and dust-free work environment.
  • Record and submit bin measurement data on a weekly basis.
  • Create work orders for maintenance as needed.
  • Support projects, working with vendors, receiving quotes, etc.
  • Oversee mobile equipment management at Scottsbluff and terminal locations in Nebraska.
  • Order pallets and other materials as required.
  • Develop and manage a dock inspection program alongside safety management.
  • Assist in payroll administration needs for the team.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED is a requirement.
  • 2-3 years leadership experience preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication and math skills.
  • Strong computer skills, including email applications, Microsoft Word, Excel, and working knowledge of SAP.
  • Proven organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Strong customer focus mind-set.
  • Solid leadership and influencing skills.

Working Relationship:

  • Report to the Terminal/Warehouse Manager.

Employment Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years or older.
