Salary

The estimated salary for this Registered Nurse position is $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description

This role involves coordinating and implementing nursing care for patients across various settings, including medical, surgical, pediatric, and critical care. The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments of patients within an appropriate timeframe
  • Planning patient care on an individual basis, identifying problems/needs, and developing standards of care/practice
  • Providing patient teaching, discharge, and post-discharge planning as needed
  • Handling, transporting, storing, preparing, and administering medications/solutions safely and according to hospital policies and procedures
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

  • A nursing diploma or degree from an accredited college or university
  • Licensure in the State of Tennessee
  • BLS certification within 90 days of hire
  • Varying certifications depending on unit assignment (e.g., Basic Arrhythmia, ACLS, NVCI)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
