Primary Responsibilities:
  • Assist clients in submitting insurance claims through various channels, including private insurance and government programs.
  • Process and manage all necessary insurance documentation.
  • Guide patients through the billing process, ensuring all required forms and signatures are collected.
  • Accurately input billing and payment data into the system.
  • Conduct follow-ups with clients regarding payments as necessary.
  • Handle incoming calls, addressing client inquiries, taking messages, and screening calls.
  • Uphold confidentiality standards at all times.
  • Verify insurance eligibility and benefits by contacting insurance providers.
  • Obtain necessary authorizations for services.
  • Ensure timely submission of invoices.
  • Resubmit any denied invoices as required.
  • Utilize insurance websites for claim processing.
  • Collect payments and maintain organized records.
  • Update payment information in the system accurately.
  • Provide weekly revenue updates to management.
  • Collaborate with office staff to manage appointment scheduling.

Qualifications:
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Prior experience in medical billing or coding is preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Practice Perfect and Office Ally is a plus.
