Job Summary

United Community Action Partnership, Inc. is seeking a skilled Transportation Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of passengers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Transportation Operations: Plan and execute daily transportation schedules, ensuring timely pickups and drop-offs of passengers.
  • Route Management: Develop and maintain efficient routes, taking into account traffic patterns, road conditions, and passenger demand.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct regular vehicle inspections and perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the safety and reliability of our fleet.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to passengers, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with other transportation staff to ensure seamless communication and coordination of transportation services.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; 1 year of experience in transportation or a related field preferred.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Valid Class C or higher commercial driver's license (CDL) with passenger endorsement required.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong organizational and time management skills.
