Cannon Crewmember

As a Cannon Crewmember in the Army National Guard, you will play a critical role in ensuring the U.S. maintains its battlefield superiority. You will be responsible for delivering decisive blows to the enemy using howitzers and learning how to use high-tech cannon artillery weapons systems, as well as artillery tactics and strategy.

• Conduct wire and radio communications to coordinate with other units
• Identify target locations and set up artillery systems for firing
• Operate heavy and light wheeled trucks and tracked vehicles to transport and manage artillery ammunition
• Maintain operational readiness of vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are in top working condition
• Participate in reconnaissance operations to gather intelligence on enemy positions

• Must be physically and mentally fit to perform under pressure

• Must meet citizenship requirements and pass a physical exam
