About the Role:

The Director of Rehabilitation Services will be responsible for the implementation of our rehabilitation and restorative care program, ensuring that our residents receive the highest quality care and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct, supervise, and coordinate the implementation of the rehabilitation and restorative care program
  • Oversee the new staff orientation process and ensure that all staff members are properly trained and equipped to provide high-quality care
  • Evaluate all newly admitted residents for their rehabilitative and restorative appropriateness and individual needs
  • Quarterly patient reviews to ensure that our residents are receiving the best possible care
  • Supervise scheduling of sufficient staff to meet the needs of our residents
  • Supervise daily and meet weekly with Restorative Aides to review resident changes and progress
Requirements:
  • Experience and licensed as an Illinois LPN or RN
  • Restorative Nurse certification preferred
  • Restorative Nurse experience
  • Experience in a Skilled Nursing facility
  • Must have compassion, tolerance, and understanding for older adults
