Electronics Assembler Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Assembler to join our team. As an Electronics Assembler, you will play a critical role in the production of high-quality electronic components and products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assemble electronic components and products according to specifications and schematics.
  • Perform soldering tasks in compliance with IPC J-STD-001 standards.
  • Inspect and test assembled products to ensure they meet quality and performance standards.
  • Identify and troubleshoot defects or issues in assemblies.
  • Use hand tools and machinery to assemble parts and products.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety guidelines and protocols.
  • Document assembly processes and maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely completion of projects.
  • Continuously improve assembly techniques and processes for efficiency and quality.
Qualifications:
  • IPC J-STD-001 certification is required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as an electronic assembler or similar role.
  • Proficient in soldering and working with electronic components.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in work.
  • Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot issues.
  • Good communication skills.
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
  • Manual dexterity to handle small components.
  • Ability to lift and move up to [weight] pounds.
Compensation:

$20 - $35 an hour
