Job Title: Project Integration Specialist

North Wind Services is seeking a highly skilled Project Integration Specialist to join our team at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in Livermore, CA.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a motivated and experienced professional to provide advanced advisory support to our Facility and Construction Managers. The successful candidate will provide expert-level constructability reviews, suggest creative solutions to complex design packages, and assist in the development of resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical and administrative oversight in support of construction projects.
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and develop mitigation strategies to minimize risks.
  • Perform expert-level Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) experience to facilitate, coordinate, and oversee Complex LOTO activities.
  • Ensure processes and procedures are met while assessing project issues and assist in the development of resolutions.
  • Direct delivery of government-furnished equipment and/or material.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in the areas designated within the subcontract.
Requirements:
  • Ability to secure and maintain a U.S. DOE Q-level security clearance.
  • Experience and knowledge of nuclear operations, engineering design, and the implementation and flow down of nuclear safety and security requirements.
  • Ability to ensure that deliverables are produced on schedule and within budget and quality requirements.
  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of construction management roles and of construction methods, materials, and codes.
  • Significant experience managing construction projects.
  • Significant experience interpreting and applying applicable local, state, and federal safety standards, codes, laws, and regulations.
