Position Overview

The role of Project Engineer is pivotal in overseeing and executing engineering-related initiatives within our facility. The selected candidate will define project goals, offer technical guidance, and track project advancements and financial aspects to guarantee completion aligns with established designs, budgets, and timelines. Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and comply with both company policies and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance operational efficiency by developing and executing engineering strategies, process specifications, and relevant technical documentation related to industrial machinery and equipment design. Establish control measures to meet project goals.
  • Assess the viability of upgrading or altering plant equipment and facilities by considering financial implications, spatial constraints, time restrictions, and other technical and economic factors.
  • Formulate budgets for capital projects by drafting scopes of work, cost projections, project documentation, technical specifications, and return on investment (ROI) analyses.
  • Supervise the acquisition and coordination of essential materials, equipment, and personnel to facilitate construction efforts. Evaluate vendor and contractor performance to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Direct all phases of project execution, from planning and scheduling to implementation and completion, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Identify and manage project risks, addressing issues and conflicts to sustain project progress.
  • Engage and communicate effectively with all project stakeholders to ensure a seamless flow of project administration and requirements.
  • Guarantee adherence to all pertinent regulatory standards and industry guidelines.
Qualifications

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial preferred).
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in an engineering role, ideally with a focus on Project Management and Development.
Preferred:
  • Experience in project management.
  • Familiarity with budgeting processes.
  • Understanding of procurement methodologies.
  • Experience in managing contractors and suppliers.
