We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse IV to join our team at UNC Health. As a Clinical Nurse IV, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Pre/Post procedural area, preparing adult patients for surgery and recovering them post-procedure.
Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care plans.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and achieve desired patient outcomes.
- Develop and implement educational programs to meet identified learning needs of staff, patients, and families.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and quality of care.
- Assist Nurse Manager in hiring, promoting, transferring, and terminating staff, while promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) from a school of professional nursing.
- Licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of North Carolina.
- Professional certification relevant to the practice area and on the ANCC Magnet approved list within the probationary period of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Provider certification.
- Eighteen (18) months of professional nursing experience in a tertiary care setting, preferably with charge and precepting experience.
- A competitive salary range of $54.18 per hour.
