Job Overview:


The Aquatic Safety Officers play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of patrons in the water and on the pool deck by implementing proactive lifeguarding measures during designated swim times.

These professionals are also tasked with upholding cleanliness standards and monitoring chemical balances in the pool environment.
Availability on weekends is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uphold pool and facility regulations
- cultivate positive interactions with members

- execute emergency response protocols

- assess and document chemical levels in both the pool and Jacuzzi

- maintain cleanliness and organization of the pool deck and equipment

  • Perform manual vacuuming of the pool

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience in customer service
- capable of sitting, standing, walking, bending, climbing stairs, and lifting weights up to 50lbs

- must successfully complete Aquatics lifeguard training

  • Must possess or be able to obtain CPR and AED certification (training provided by The Alaska Club)
