Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team at Alyeska Resort. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our guests and employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrol and monitor resort premises, including buildings, grounds, and public areas, to ensure the safety and security of guests and employees.
  • Conduct regular checks of security systems, including cameras and alarms, to ensure they are functioning properly.
  • Respond to security incidents, including disturbances, complaints, and accidents, and take appropriate action to resolve the situation.
  • Provide excellent customer service to guests and employees, and respond to their concerns and needs in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Work closely with resort management and staff to ensure that security protocols are followed and that the resort is maintained in a safe and secure condition.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date on the latest security procedures and protocols.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 21 years of age and have a valid US driver's license.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; prior security training and experience preferred.
  • CPR, First Aid, and TAPs certification required within 90 days of employment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and employees.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
