Job Summary:The Licensed Social Worker will be responsible for providing psychotherapy, counseling, and support to residents and their families. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to address the emotional, social, and psychological needs of our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide initial assessments and ongoing support to residents and their families
- Utilize psychotherapy to address mental health issues and provide counseling services
- Collaborate with our interdisciplinary team to ensure residents receive comprehensive care
- Document all interactions and progress with residents and their families
- Stay up-to-date on Medicare Benefit and commercial insurance plans
- Master's degree in Social Work and a valid LCSW license in the state of Iowa
- Two years of counseling and therapy experience
- Ability to work as a member of a team with a great attitude
- Demonstrated knowledge of Mental Health diagnoses and therapeutic approaches
- Experience collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
