About the Role

Atrium Health Charlotte is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina.


Job Summary

This is a float position that will require the technologist to work in various radiology departments, performing a range of exams and procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and possess a strong understanding of radiologic principles and practices.


Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiologic exams as ordered by physicians, utilizing radiation safety practices to provide high-quality examinations.
  • Operate equipment as directed by exam demands, selecting proper technical factors on an individual patient basis.
  • Assist in maintaining accurate patient records, obtaining specimens, and performing diagnostic laboratory tests as ordered.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians as necessary, ensuring seamless communication and high-quality patient care.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology Program.
  • Current registry with ARRT or ability to obtain registry within 6 months of hire date.
  • 1 year of experience preferred.
  • BLS certification required.
