Job Description

The Assistant Community Manager plays a vital role in supporting the Community Manager in effectively managing the property. In the absence of the manager, this role assumes the responsibilities of the manager, ensuring seamless operations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting in employee training and development
  • Maintaining accurate resident records and issuing necessary notices
  • Collecting monies from residents and managing delinquency
  • Preparing and updating reports as delegated by the Community Manager
  • Greeting customers, offering refreshments, and performing leasing functions
  • Responding to calls and inquiries from customers, residents, and vendors professionally
  • Qualifying customers per property guidelines and adhering to Fair Housing/OSHA Laws
  • Collecting new lease paperwork, fees, and deposits
  • Conducting daily inspections of models, vacant units, and office appearance
  • Staying aware of local market trends and conditions, updating the Market Survey monthly
  • Completing daily, weekly, and monthly leasing and marketing reports
  • Inspecting property, picking up litter, and reporting service needs to the manager or maintenance
  • Inspecting move-outs within 24 hours of the scheduled move-out and vacant apartments as requested
  • Creating monthly resident newsletters and updating the community Facebook page
  • Planning, budgeting, organizing, and overseeing resident retention functions
  • Ensuring accurate marketing material, including the advertising binder
  • Creating flyers and promotional materials for resident functions
  • Monitoring and supervising community activity, intervening in situations where residents and/or guests are not following rules
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of residents to offer services they will utilize
  • Collaborating with the site team to meet property needs and resolve resident problems

Salary:

$25/hr. + bonuses + housing discount
