East Bay BMW is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for selling new and used vehicles to customers while ensuring their satisfaction.

Sales Goals: Meet dealership sales targets and exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities:

  • Meet with customers to determine their vehicle needs and preferences.
  • Explain features and demonstrate operation of vehicles in the showroom or on demonstration drives.
  • Suggest optional equipment for customers to purchase.
  • Compute and quote sales prices, including tax, trade-in allowance, and discount.
  • Complete paperwork accompanying vehicle sales.
  • Arrange for delivery and registration of vehicles.
  • Research availability of models and optional equipment.
  • Engage in business development activities.
  • Address customer concerns and maintain CSI at or above company standards.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe work area.
  • Participate in required training programs.
  • Record all hours worked accurately in company timekeeping systems.
  • Follow safety rules and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • 2+ years of sales experience in the automotive industry.
  • Valid driver's license and automobile salesperson license.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products and web applications.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets.

Estimated Salary Range: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, plus commission and bonuses based on performance.
