Job Title: Director, Oracle Cloud Applications

At Teradata, we're seeking a seasoned leader to drive our Oracle Cloud Applications strategy and execution. As a Director, Oracle Cloud Applications, you'll be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive vision for our Oracle Cloud capabilities, ensuring seamless integration with our global IT organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a strategic plan for Oracle Cloud Applications, aligning with business imperatives and driving targeted business outcomes.
  • Lead the SDLC process for Oracle Cloud Platform, ensuring timely and successful delivery of cloud-based solutions.
  • Oversee data quality and accuracy, system integration, and solution personalization efforts to ensure seamless operation across all regions.
  • Identify strategic improvement opportunities and align them to business imperatives.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and industry leading trends, methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Champion the adoption of new features and capabilities within Oracle Cloud to enhance business processes and drive innovation.
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations, security policies, industry standards, and company policies in all regions.
  • Develop contingency plans to address potential disruptions or delays.
  • Manage all integrations to and from the Oracle Cloud technology ecosystem, partnering actively with peers within the global IT organization.
  • Partner with peers within the global IT organization to manage boundary systems (Salesforce, ServiceNow, BI, etc.) as part of the connected cloud technology ecosystem.
  • Be a technology leader offering strategies around utilization of AI technologies and capabilities to drive new services and efficiencies within the connected cloud technology ecosystem.
  • Works collaboratively with Project/Program Managers in all aspects of the initiatives.
  • Coach, mentor, and guide employees through their career development, providing opportunities for employees to learn, grow and take on new challenges.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Oracle Cloud Applications, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability.
Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
  • 7-10+ years of experience with implementing, managing, and enhancing Oracle cloud applications and platform technologies (ERP and EPM modules).
  • 3-5+ years at director level or above with a proven track record of building and leading successful global technology teams.
  • 10+ years of experience leading large-scale end-to-end platform cloud solutions and systems consolidations in a fast-paced software business using appropriate SDLC methodologies.
