Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Technician to join our team at one of our outpatient dialysis centers. As a Patient Care Technician, you will play a critical role in providing direct patient care, monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment, and educating patients on kidney dialysis-related topics. Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including monitoring patients before, during, and after dialysis treatment
  • Monitor and record patient vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, and oxygen saturation
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the patient's physician
  • Provide education to patients on kidney dialysis-related topics, including diet, medication, and lifestyle changes
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be able to multitask
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain any necessary certifications or licenses
