Job Title: Nursing Assistant

Be part of the Saint Therese team and make a difference in the lives of our seniors. We are seeking compassionate and supportive Nursing Assistants to join our team.

About the Role:

As a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing direct care to our residents, including transporting, transferring, toileting, positioning, feeding, bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also encourage our residents to maintain their highest level of independence and validate their concerns.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to residents, including personal care and activities of daily living
  • Transport and transfer residents as needed
  • Encourage residents to maintain their highest level of independence
  • Validate residents' concerns and provide emotional support
Requirements:
  • Successful completion of a State-approved program in compliance with the Nurse Assistant Training Act
  • Registration with the State of Minnesota as a certified nursing assistant in good standing
  • Minimum of one year previous experience working as a nursing assistant
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to accurately plan and carry out assignments without direct supervision
  • Proven history of good judgment, integrity, and consideration to others
